Need to rethread spark plug

On my 07 last week one of the spark plugs worked its way back and eventually blew out of the cylinder cracking the coil. When it did this it messed up the threads, a friend who is a Lexus mechanic brought his threading kit over but none of the tools are deep enough to get into the Mazda. Is anyone familiar with the tool needed to fit in the spark plug hole and deep enough to get to the threads to fix this?

Not sure what tool they used but this happened 2x on my 05. I had to tow it to a local mechanic who charged $200 including new coil and Spark plug.
