2006 mazda 6 3.0 purge valve location

hey guys, i'm trying to locate the purge valve on my mazda. i've read everything from "it's to the left of the engine on the firewall" to "it's right next to the battery, can't miss it" but i'm still not finding it...... does anyone have any insight?
Thanks in advance!

Multiple purge valves under the hood for different systems.

EVAP purge valve is next to the throttle body on a little bracket attached to the air intake hose.

I don't think I can see it where it is supposed to be, but your pictures are also on the small side. If looking at the engine while standing in front of the car, the purge valve is supposed to be attached to the rubber intake hose right up next to the throttle body. There are 2 lines that run to it and an electrical plug. If it is indeed missing you'll need to find the lines and electrical plug when you replace the valve/solenoid. Look down in that triangle just to the left of the throttle body.
