Did you buy the car new? Is it a factory installed sunroof and not a dealer installed/aftermarket power roof?

After you lock the car is your key fob put in a tight pocket/bag/purse? I found out that if the lock or unlock button on the key fob is held down for about 10 seconds and my windows and sunroof opens. If that's not your problem, it should be an electrical wiring problem. I'd take it to the dealer also.

I have to play with it to get it to shut almost all the way. I just went outside and played with it to see what was happening. It looks like its the mechanism. When it goes to shut the rear side isnt lifting to shut and it makes the sunroof open again. Maybe theres a track or something off, idk. any idea ?

got anyone who knows how to work a screw driver w/ a torque fitting? the screws are a T25(IIRC) and you undo the 2 screws under the sunglass holder. then you use a flat head at the rear most of the holder and press in 2 clips.

once this is complete the holder will fall slightly.

you can unplug the harness from there and this should help rule out that the control is good/not good. if the controller is good........ you can also access the motor and unplug that.

sunroof unplugged won't open......... but atleast it won't be stuck open on you either.
