Dealer messed up wheels.....AGAIN!

VENTING.....

I went to get my oil changed at the dealer. They had also advised me my black chrome wheels were refinished and back again.

But... one of the wheels is really dirty with tire gunk from the install.... hmmm... Examine this wheel closer.... and see this....

I just can't F'ing believe it...... they tried hiding the scratches in the tire gunk. Im so pissed... I had to walk away to calm down...

Dealer sending them back out again! 3x now. Now sitting in the lounge for another hour while they put back on the loaners.

I CAN'T WAIT till they ask me to pay for the oil change....

Sorry to hear that. Those black chrome wheels seem really susceptible to damage.

Did the dealer have an explanation for how it happened? Did the refinished wheels come back messed up? Or did the tech damage the wheels when installing the new tires?

Why would anyone go to the dealer except for a recall?

Ok.. I'll entertain you for a sec.

My dealer gives me a good deal for oil changes and tire rotations. No reason not to go.

Was there that time because the dealer had the wheels refinished under warranty. One started to peel, so they refinished both wheels on one side. The tech scratched the brand new refinished wheel when they installed it and tried to play it off by hiding it under some tire gunk.
