Have an idea to improve COD MW2

That's Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2, not some secret car code, lol.

So there's already a good selection of online gameplay... Free-for-All, Team deathmatch, headquaters, hardcore, etc...

NOW, it is well known that many people hate "campers" ... those that sit in some obscure spot the whole game just waiting for someone to walk/run buy so they can pop them. It doesn't bother me that snipers often "camp," because, well, that's what snipers do. Anyways, they already have "hardcore," which encourages camping IMO and that is fine for those who like it (I know there's a lot more to hardcore, it just isn't my bag).

Sooo, I think they should have "anti-camper" versions of team death match, free-for-all, etc.. where if you stay in the same spot (or within a couple of feet) for 10 seconds, you automatically die. The hardcore "anti-camping" version could kill you for sitting still for 5 seconds.

I would be playing that all the time, and I think the games would be very fast and a lot of fun. You'd get rid of a lot of campers, or at least make them try to actually move, aim, and shoot!

Any thoughts?

lol. I just played a round of regular tdm and went 22-1-2! I should go to bed after that! haha. No nuke for me yet though Working on it.
I'll admit that I do camp when: After I call in a harrier strike, and I'm waiting for the 11-killstreak chopper gunner or ac130. Other than that, I'm on the go!

EDIT: I'm just an average player, but my game improved dramatically when I increased the controller sensitivity from the default of 3 or 4 up to 7. It took awhile to get used to, but I'm so glad I did. I wish I did that a long time ago!

That game sadly is no place for the "hardcore" gamer. I played it since day 1, got my first nuke on day one, my 10th nuke on day 2, and for the next two weeks I nuked pretty much every single game (harrier-->chopper gunner-->nuke), going something like 30-1 or 40-1 every game (1 being my own nuke killing me).

There's nothing fun in abusing overpowered kill streaks, but the game is centered around using them so not doing so is just gimping yourself. Point being, I got bored of nuking everyone after about a month and I haven't played it for over two months now. lol

Back to your idea, it wouldn't work, again because of the kill streaks. A few of them require you to actively control the kill streak, during which time your soldier is standing still looking at a briefcase. This would auto-kill people that got kill streaks, which while I think would be hilarious, most people probably wouldn't approve. lol

Also, I don't know what system you play on; I'm a PC gamer. If the game didn't suck and had dedicated servers, you could make a mod to do exactly that and play on whatever settings you want. Alas, the game blows.

First of all, you got some mad skills! I play on the Playstation Network, which has actually improved since MW1 or WAW. Now if the "host" leaves the game, it doesn't kick everyone to the lobby.. it searches for a new host, connects, and the game resumes where you were. It still times out sometimes, but it's a lot better then before.
I thought of that problem with the killstreaks (chopper gunner, ac130, maybe even predator missile), and it woudn't be hard to exclude the "user controlled" killstreaks from the auto-death. Too bad they don't have a "no-killstreaks allowed." Perhaps you'd find that more challenging. I've only been playing fps for about a year and a half, so I'm still working at it. MW1 was the first game I played that was a fps. I was the knucklehead that was walking sideways and looking at the sky! LOL It was ugly! haha

Trust me this is not something I'm proud of, I've wasted way too much time gaming. haha I've played FPS games since Delta Force 2 in 1998 though so I have a fair a mount of experience, and they don't change much. :P

In MW1 I mostly played on modded tactical realism servers (bunnyhopping doesn't work, you have to use sights to do damage prevent RNG spray and pray, and a slew of other changes) to make it more difficult. Sadly this is impossible in MW2, so fuck that game. :P

Here's hoping Bad Company 2 is less fail.

there is nothing I hate more than thermal! You can just lay in the grass where noone can see you and still get kills all game.

I had to stop playing while the carepackage glitch was still going. It pissed me off. Plus I was a total hypocrite cuz I took advantage lol.

@jo0711: We are going to get you those lights if it kills me. I had the strangest feeling about shipping them to the wrong person untill I saw your gamertag... for some reason I remembered something about badreligion. I also have a sinking feeling that USPS screwed the pooch or someone stole the box out of my mail box. Shiz, either way I will get you lights. I promise. If you don't have them by tomorrows mail delivery, then I will send you my 2 spair and buy 2 new ones for you.
