I've searched and searched, and about half the time I see people saying the OEM 18x7 MS6 wheel has a +55 offset... but then I see others saying it's +60 including this thread ( http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123666992 ) and the guys at my local Discount Tire.

Which is the correct OEM offset for the MS6, +55 or +60?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

+55, its stamped on the back of the wheel

most all the places i talked to said it was +60, but dealrship said +55. The wheel selection is very few and far between if you want to get something that's close to that. Took me forever to find something I liked!

The MS6 18" are 55mm, but I think the reg M6 18" are 60mm ... adds to confusion.

So...if you put a MS6 18" on a M6..what offset is alright?

Actually, might as well...if someone has some time to spare, could you explain to me what does the offset do? 5.gif rather take the words in layman's terms from you experts!

The higher the offset, the better.
So MS6 rims would be perfect for any M6.

Aftermarket wheels should be 42mm offset at LEAST.

btw: offset is the mm away from the center of the wheel.
