will they fit with stock height?


I have an opportunity to get a set of 4 with tires for $425!!!

Running the same dimensions slammed and all is well.

I would suggest a bit more caution with a +42mm offset. Remember that each car can be different due to manufacturing variances in the body alignment.

Rule of thumb on the Mazda 6 is anything below +50mm might encounter fender clearance problems. A +45mm offset can often work with rolled fenders. I would guess that these rims will probably need a fender roll. You may get lucky and be fine with no modifications, but I'd be prepared to roll the fenders just in case.

I guess I didn't realize he was rocking a 6s. The fenders on a MS6 are known to be wider. So you may need a minor roll of the fender more specifically the rears.

Offset means absolutely nothing without knowing the width of the wheel. I could have a +40 wheel that fits without problems and a +60 wheel that wont fit at all.

Depending on the size of the tire you put on them, you may or may not need to roll. They will definitely fit if you do decide to roll.



Based on all the wheel fitments I've seen over the years, I would have to say thats wrong.

That's why I stated "rule of thumb". I was taking the stated 225/40R18 tire size as a given. I guess I should have explicitly included the assumption of "reasonable" tire widths with the rule. You are correct that running very narrow or very wide tires will affect the range of offsets that will work.
