Hey guys, I have noticed that my rims (standard OEMs for 2005Mazda 6) do not become clean anymore! I try to clean my car every Saturday, and I scrub those puppies to death! They don't become clean anymore though I don't know what it is. I bought some wheel cleaner from advanced auto parts the other day and used that to clean them, it looks like it worked that week when i used it. I tried again this week and it looks as though the wheel cleaner is staining the aluminum finish on the wheel. Besides that after I rinse off the rims not all the gook is gone. I dont understand why this happens. I have painted calipers (though that shouldn't matter) and hawk ceramic performance brakes (which in turn produce MORE brake dust than convetional brakes.) I am completely stumped, any ideas on how to clean them and how to keep them clean for more than a trip to burger king and back?

Try mr clean eraser! Works wonders.
