Full Version: in the new wheel club, 18x8 +35

grabbed some MSR 045 18x8 +35..... had some major rubbing on the drive home..... got that taken care of, my rear fenders are pretty tucked up in there now... driving sideways up the driveway, i could see how deep the wheel goes up into the fender and where to press....

Very classy looking rim. I like them a lot. Remind me of the old TSW rims that I had on my Maxima. Offset not so much of a fan though. I'm on that more offset wider tire side of the fence though

thanks and i agree... but i got them on clearance at a price i was correct in not passing up, the price went back up right after i made my purchase....

those are really nice. I wish i had the money for rims like that. Nice choice.

simaler to the BBS rims that were on my GLX. Always wondered what that type of rim would look like on an MS6. Still wondering as I cant see the pics here at work. have fun cleaning them!

I have the same wheel, just got put on and had to spring expanders to keep the wheel from rubbing, could you show me a picture of what all you tucked to keep rubbing from happening? I am on stock mazda 6 suspension....not a speed6 =( but anyway, I would appreciate your help. Thanks!

Your gonna need to roll your fenders to get rid of the rubbing and may need a slight pull as well

What do you mean by pull? Like bend the fender out??

What size tires are you running? I can't tell if they are a 215 or 225... I am hoping a 225/40R18 for my own setup.
