It seems that I have a small leak coming from the front differential/transmission. Has anybody else had this issue? if so, how did you solve it?
superskaterxes
its a TSB. take it to the dealer and get it fixed
Dickey P
With all those mods on or not?

I dont know...i certainly dont want to have to remove everything again. What do you think?

i dont know what mods you have (sig)...
but i would take the time to put it back to stockish...
its up to you though... do you want a warranty...
this brings me to another question...
if you go to the dealer with mods that will void a warranty, will they still perform TSB`s???

john
i had this issue 2 months ago. went for an oil change and they found a leak in the transfer case. only had 6000 miles when it happened.
that time i had cpe cai, cpe mount, cpe dual catback, twm ss stage2 , su tp ,hks bov and aftermarket rims/tires
i took everything back to stock except the shifter and rims/tires. dealer didnt say anything and resolve the issue

I had all mods up to the Standback when I had this issue. I took nothing back to stock and didn't have any issues, but my dealership has been pretty sweet so far. YMMV.

see, my dealer refused me service one time because i trimmed the cross hatches on my TMIC shroud.
so looks like i just need to be more careful than some fortunate others.. o well..
enjoy your lenient dealers because i sure cant!!! 28,000 bucks for a car and they want to deny service for cutting a piece of plastic that is not attached to any moving parts...
o well...

How long did they have your car to fix the issue?

I think Im going that route too, since it is a TSB, the mods have nothing to do with tthe issue, I should be ok, and my dealer SHOULD be ok with it..
john
they had it for four days 4.gif

Update:

Dealer made me remove the Cp-e downpipe because it was in the way of repairing the transfer case, after doing that and dropping it off, they had it for 4 hours. No leaks now

i'm glad your dealer is cooperating. i've had mine replaced without hassels.

i was wondering about that....glad this is cleared up.
