I installed my new turbo saturday, and I have a bad oil leak coming from behind the alternator. I can only assume it is leaking from the steel line that hooks to the top of the turbo, and runs down behind the alternator. Im thinking it got kinked, or moved, and is not sealing now. No leaks from turbo side, just from underneath the alternator when the car is on. Is there a link ANYWHERE that shows how to remove the alternator? Tried the search tool, couldnt come up with anything. Thanks in advance for the help

nevermind, got the alternator off.... The oil line behind the alternator was a 'little' loose, but nothing major. I tightened it down more, and I never really messed with that side of the oil line during the turbo install. Why would it leak all of a sudden? Is it possible the line is cracked? I guess the only way to find out is to reinstall everything and start 'er up....

It's probably cracked especially if you didn't touch that side during the r&r of the turbo.

I honestly can't imagine how you could get the turbo out and back in without removing the block side of the oil drain without totally f'ing up the hard line.

Ive removed and reinstalled the turbo twice now, and havent removed the oil return line from the block yet. And it was leaking from the supply line, not the drain line..
Anyways it was just loose, no leaks now..
