Ive launched my car a good amount of times. And i feel i know how to launch consistently pulling sub 1.85 60'. I havent launched it in a while so the other day i figured id give it a shot now that i put it back to stock and put new tires on it.

Now i know our cars are based off of front wheel drive but it seems like my front wheels are spinning alot more then they used to. My car is still "squatting" when i launch ,but sometimes i will get wheel hop( or even like its drawing power then coming back on ) and it doesnt seem like it takes off the way it used too.

Is there a chance that the rear diff or transfer case isnt working properly? or maybe the clutch is just slipping when im putting a big load on the transmission?

I can bring it into the dealer, but i cant go in and say" it doesnt feel right when i launch it"

If anyone has any knowledge about this please chime in.

I searched but could'nt find anything useful.

When you put everything back to stock does that include any aftermarket mounts? You turn off DSC. Your hand brake is not up. Then I have no idea.

The only mod i have on it is a SU motor mount. DSC is off and hand brake is not engaged.

I think its normal for the fronts to spin more than the rears. Thats how mine is. Some people were having problems with the diff and its caused the car to actually roast the front tires on a launch. Maybe your tires are wearing out more since the last launch i dunno??

yea my car isnt completely fwd. But it just seems its more then it usually was. I guess it could be cause of the tires since i switched to kuhmos. Maybe the bridgestones are that much softer. Yet the biggest thing that im worried about is how much wheel hop \ i was getting. And thats never happened

I guess the only way is to bring it to the track and see what 60' i pull.

That is if i keep the car after the lease is up this week. And of course after cobb and a cpe cbe ..

And if something breaks , then off to the dealer..

That's the cause of your problems, right there.
