the topic pretty much says it all... my generals are almost done for after 36k miles so i'm looking for either some new tires or a refresh with new 17x7 or 18x7 Kosei K-1 TS rims

the look and weight are very appealing and I don't drive hard so I'm cautious to not hit potholes at 90mph wink.gif

anything on tirerack is 1/2 sold out.... got ideas?

I think Koseis are a Tire Rack exclusive. So, good luck finding them new anywhere else. :\

I've got a set of 17x7 K1's that I was about to put up for sale. Wheels are in great condition, just need to clean them up. Mounted with some old but low-mileage (~4k) Toyo T1-S 225/45 tires. PM me if you're interested.

They are great wheels... I've had two sets.

Edit: Sold to Toadster.

Ha! Looks like my car now. Good move to the black lugs. I still need to do the same some day.

thanks... at $1.50/ea for the black lugs - it was a cheap mod 5.gif

the guy at Les Schwab said that the stock lugs would destroy the rims as the hex head wouldn't have 'meshed' into the smooth bowl of the Kosei wheels - so better safe than sorry!
