well I am getting ready to leave for college in about one week and the main thing that I have been concerned about is my car! I am going to be at George Mason University and there are a lot of people up there and I'm pretty sure someone would love to snag the wheels off of my car (something I definitely do NOT want to happen)!!! I have a lug nut lock on there that i bought from the local Advanced Auto Parts but I know those are universal considering when I purchased my tired, they sent me the wrong lug nut set (not a thin-wall set) and I was wondering where I could get a good lug nut set with a decent lock for my 18" Drifz 505B Nos 18x7.5 wheels.

I hate saying it but maybe try the stealership.

I'll sell you my stock locks. I think I still have the key for them.

stock? i want ones that no one can get a key for so i know my wheels are safe on my car throughout the year that i'm going to be there. is this a universal key? more info please

i wouldnt even take the car to school...im just buying a beater for a grand and using that for transportation and putting my 6 into storage because i dont want anything to get stolen or anything damaged!
SPNGLRRR
honestly if i had the money, i would do that.. but this is my only choice so i am taking every precaussion that i possibly can

r u going to b working during college? If yes i would suggest possibly getting a loan and buying the car and paying it off during the school year...
SPNGLRRR
bad idea, i am definately not going to be working my first semester for sure. i already am paying for this car 253 a month for the next 3 years, so i am in no position financially to do that. small security like enhanced car alarm with the key fob and a new lug nut set are a must

haha if they really wanted your wheels they would get them. there are ways around lock keys. all you have to do is hammer a socket smaller than the lock lug and bam your wheels are gone. Lug keys do help to deter people from stealing but its never fool proof.

if you lose your key though, you're shit out of luck.
