There are a few things my wife and I miss that our other vehicle has and I wish our Mazda had.

(1) Doors that automatically lock when the car is shifted into drive. I know there is a guy that codes modules for these. I'll probably pick one up at some point.

(2) Doors that automatically unlock when you pull the interior door handle.

(3) Better notification for low fuel. All you get is that easily missed light. My SUV has a light, a ding, a 'Check Gage' icon on the dash and notification on the center consoel trip computer. There's no way you're going to forget to get gas in that truck.

(4) Automatic headlights that come on in the rain as this is required in most states in the US.

(5) We would like the bluetooth to automatically connect the 2nd phone. My wife has to manually connect her phone when she gets in the car.

I'm sure there are others I can't think of atm but those are a few. If anyone has a solution for 2-5 please do share.

I agree with number 1 and 2. Idk about your car but my headlights go on by themselveswhen it rains (given that its dark enough, but it seems like it always is). And my car also automatically connects to my phone once i get into it. I dont' mind the low fuel light being small. There isn't too many things on the dash thats yellow so it stands out a lot compared to the blue and red

It would be nice for me to unlock all the doors when I approach the car w/ teh smart key system and pressing the button on the handle.

My lights don't go on when it rains. I haven't checked during a severely dark storm but it would be sweet if I could somehow connect them to the rain sensing wipers. (which work fairly well aside from the occasional seemingly random action) I'm betting this is possible but I wouldn't have the know-how to do it.

The car connects to my phone automatically (the primary phone) but my wife has hers as a secondary and it won't connect. She has go into the setup and connect it each time.

I can't really see the low fuel light the way the steering wheel is positioned so a little ding or something would have been nice. When I finally see it I'm always wondering how long it has been on.

I can see every gauge through my steering wheel.
The light comes on at about a 1/4 - 1/8 tank and there's a needle right next to the light to show how much fuel is left. I've let my needle get down just below the 0 mark and it was still running. There's even a mile counter on the info display so you can see approx how many miles you have left till the next fill-up.

yea i wish for (1) and (2) too.

I also wish I could make the ACC mode not turn off by itself after like 30 minutes. I want to make it at least 2 hours so it wont turn off on me during the drive-in movie theaters. (It is not configurable at the dealer either, i checked.)

According to page 10-9 of the vehicle manual, it can be disabled.

Agree with 1&2 --- 3 you should be watching your miles to empty I live on that thing. But a separate clock would be nice. 4 is just f$$$$$g stupid and useless - why the hell do they even HAVE auto headlights if it doesn't come on with the wipers? Saturns do this for god's sake!

5, I disagree with you, because the audio is expensive garbage altogether, I'll take a side order of:
IF YOU'RE PARTNERED WITH FORD, HOW THE FARK COME WE DON'T HAVE ****DRIVE**** --- The only good thing Microsoft ever did?

I've been leaving my headlights on (they're xenon's and hence voltage regulated, they auto-off). I ended up installing a DEI module to auto-dim the nav since I leave the hadlights on :/ dumbass hack really.

Yeah I'll give you that but I really wanted a moonroof. lol The stereo will be replaced but had a financial crisis about 3 weeks after we bought the car so the stereo replacement is on hold for a few months at least. I'm hoping the replacement is smarter than this one.
