hey guys i just got my led strips in the mail today.. im hocking them up so when the door opens the lights come on.. anyone know what color the wires are from the door light so i can just tap off it to run these led strips?? or another idea??

If it's the same of mine, it's blue w/ red for hot, yellow w/ black for return.

Where are you installing the LED strips?

up under the footwell area.. its like how them nissans and infinitis and other cars.. when you open the door the foot wells light up and shut off when the door closes...

Actually, funny you mention that. I'm doing the exact same thing tonight with 4 blue LED strips. 1 under each side of the dash, and 1 under each front seat for the rear footwells Good luck with the install

Also have LED strips in my doors, to the courtesy lights as well.

looks good, i finished my install with 1 led strip on each side, drive and passanger.. its a 24 cm led strip with 24 leds on it... looks really bright.. i went with white throught my entire car..

btw what brand bulbs you use in ur liciece plate. those are bring as hell...

For the license plate, you want something with a rather wide viewing angle, since the bulbs are on an angle. Mine are WLED-x5 bulbs from http://www.superbrightleds.com and I lined the inside of the plastic lens with aluminum foil, trying to get a little bit more brightness out of it. Don't know if it works or not, but doesn't hurt having it there.
