Has anyone put LED lights on the doors, inside reading lights and outside mirror welcome lights? If so any pictures?

I put LED's in the courtesy lights in the doors but not the others...yet.

The lights under the mirrors are sealed and the bulb cannot be (easily) replaced. You'll have to crack open the light module to get in and switch out to LEDs.

Hey Mike, what size and number bulbs did you throw in the doorsills for our 2nd gen? Is it the 194 you used or what? Trying to replace mine in the doors too! You done anything to the map lights or dome lights yet? I saw your other thread about the ozium's in the trunk! Sick! Sorry I didn't throw you some funds for the manual, just too busy back then. The license plate and trunk lights are both 194's too right? Thanks for any info you could throw my way

license plate light - 194

Back up light - 921

what do you mean by trunk lights and door sill lights? are you asking about courtesy/step light that is located by the floor on the driver and passenger side?

Yah, the step light for the 2nd gens. Thanks for the info on the license plate lights, I'll go grab a couple of those and throw them in as soon as I can!

just be aware to play around with the license plate lights. its easy to change but the way the bulb twists into place is kinda different... the light doesnt shine to the side but rather down... so if you were to get the "ordinary" 5 led 194 bulb only one of the leds would really be used because only one would be shinning down. i ended up playing around with a few before i found one i liked.

The step light is also 194 however i managed to squeeze in a 921 9 led bulb in there instead.

lemme know if i can be any more help

i also have a 2nd gen in white.

Good color choice So I should get some wedge LED's 194 for the license plate lights, we have two back there for the plate right or just one? Ok, throw some 194's in the doors too, how about the dome or map lights, have you replaced those yet? Thanks for all the help man! Do you have any pics of your 6? Throw them up here, love to get more people on here with the new body style!
