I am redoing the interior of my car and i am using black suede. I have laid the fabric over and applied it to the back two doors already, I was just curious if any one had a picture of the door panel from the leather kit before it was installed on the car?

Trying to work the fabric around the corner at the back of the door has been interesting to say the least and i was wondering if a pic of the leather kit would help me for the front doors.

Thanks for the help guys.....

Here are my back doors....

These doors started gray with gray cloth and silver trim .....they have come a long way... it was raining and i was using my phone to take the pics so they did not turn out that well

I started the front doors last night and they are easier than the back doors. I will post pics once i am done with the project next step is the headliner

Once i had the door off I grinded off the heat stamped plugs and separated the door into three parts. The upper vinyl the mid fabric and the bottom plastic. Once it was separated I painted the bottom section with SEM flat black with their low luster clear. Then I bought black suede and 3M 90 strength adhesive and glued the fabric over the existing fabric making sure not to get any wrinkles. My first door was not the greatest but it was not that bad. Once that was complete i reassembled the door by cleaning up the old heat stamps and then drilling small holes and I screwed the door panels back together.

To get the rights screws you have to search around. once you have the door apart there is one brass screw already there so i basically followed that procedure and bought more of the screws.

Now that i am done i will pull a door off and show what it looks like all assembled with screws.

I got lucky i went to JoAnn's and their fabric was 40 % off that really helped for the headliner.

how much would you need? thats pretty expensive, but i think that you would probably only need ~1yd per door, so ~$100 isnt too bad if you can get 4 doors done and do it yourself
