Today I noticed the driver's visor was extremely hot when I went to move it to block the sunlight coming in from the side of the car. It turns out the vanity light would not turn off. Anyone else notice this on their new 6? I just removed the battery for now. Maybe that is why the car needed to be charged before I took delivery back in November. I hope this is just an isolated incident and not on all 6's.

Sounds like a trip to the dealership is in order. Do post their findings in this thread.....there's not a lot of info on the gen 2s yet, so every little bit helps build the knowledge base.

Just remove the bulb from the visor until you get it fixed, so that it doesnt overheat and damage anything.

I took my car to the dealership and they fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Apparently, the switch needed some adjustment so it would turn off when the light visor shade was closed.
