The work looks great. Clean install.
One question: Does the Ashtray/shift console color, and brushed metal look match your audio/HVAC center console?

it looks pretty clean. there's definitely a noticeable difference between the radio faceplate and the shifter area. however, someone on here was able to do some type of paint scheme to make the faceplate look like the rest of the ashtry/shift console area.

I just bought me a new MS6 radio. That is what you need and then get the painted covers fo the dash and door armrests. Or buy a ms6.

i'll be doing that exact same setup (minus the shiftknob) pretty soon. my MS6 radio faceplate is on it's way, so i'll let you know if it's interchangeable. Once i get that on and make sure it works, THEN 'll order the shift section + cupholder.

let me know how it goes, I'm seriously considering getting the MS6 faceplate and 6 cd changer, but I have manual heater controls and not sure if I can just pull off the auto module and stick mine in..... |

Okay, I put on the speed6 faceplate the other day. MAN, was it a pain in the ass transferring everything over. People who install the metrakit only have to remove the vents and AC controls, without touching the radio. I was so scared I'd break any of the circuit boards, lol.
But in the end, it was worth it. It fits, and it looks great. So for all the people who have been wondering whether it'd work because of the auto climate controls and size... well, it fits fine. sorry for the crap pics, i only have my cellphone, and it's hard to capture the "shine". ![]() ![]() now all i gotta do is get a hold of the speed6 shift section + cupholders. |
