You have to take apart half the dash to do it...
I'll list the first few steps from the instructions to install the iPod integration module. Raise the parking brake handle and remove the cupholder console plate. It just snaps in, raise the rear side first. Remove the thin pieces of trim on either side of the shifter, starting at the bottom and working your way up. Remove the console plate that surrounds the shifter plate (includes the accessory plug, seat heater switches, airbag light and start button). Unplug any cables to this assembly. Unscrew the heater control panel and unplug the cables. Remove the 3 screws and 1 bolt securing the nav unit/stereo and unplug all cables from the back. ... ~Mike

after you remove the plastic piece over the parking brake; you have to unscrew the shift knob. depends if you have a manual or ATX. on the atx u have to move the shifter all the way to "M" to remove the plastic gear shift cover. then unclip the cig connector
almost forgot. remove your glove box by opening it; then squeezing the sides until it comes right out. then there is a 10mm nut (I think its 10mm) connecting the stereo to a bracket you have to unbollt. i cant find a pic of it anywhere but i know theres one out there that needs to be removed. unless your stereo isn't going to budge |

Oops, I forgot about the shifter knob.
My Nav had 3 machine screws at the top corners and the bottom left corner. The bottom right corner was occupied by a bolt. The only reason I had to remove the glove box was to attache the iPod module and route cables. If you do remove the glove box, make sure you detach the dampening arm from the right side, it just pulls off the door to the side. Once that's off and you push the sides in, be careful because the door will simply fall off the lower hinges.
