Hello, I am trying to see if there is any interest in Sparco Harness Bars & Belts for the Mazda 6s, Speed6, and the 6i (no particular order )?

Speedware Motorsports is willing to make this product for us as they make the sparco harness bars for Evo's & STI's (four door sedans). These could be used for AutoX, Street, & Strip. I am going to have one made for my car, but they would like to know if any other 6 owner would be interested.

****Remember, they also make seat brackets for Recaros and Sparco for our car already. ****

This harness bar would include mounts and I am going to check with them if this is something we can make available to remove (bolt-in) so if you only needed it for AutoX days or just having fun on the weekend but wanted to take it out for when your driving around with multiple passengers.

Let me know, if we have enough interest I will start a GB thread.

http://www.speedwaremotorsports.com/

Thanks
Matt

As long as its removable for track days, I'd be interested in it. Do you have any pictures? The website seems to lack them and any sort of product description.

That would be rather cool, if I can actually get Sparco seats in the car without the airbag light going on.

hmm, i need a price point. i've wanted to do this for a while but it wasn't worth having something custom made considering the relatively cheap cost of an autopower industries cage.

if it's removable and cheap, i'm in.

Speedware set my recaros up with no CEL at all . They know how to do this, they would be able to pass it on with each Sparco/Recaro seats and belt harness. They are the wests major importer of Sparco & Recaro seat. They have a huge warehouse full of every kind of seat. They also have the seat brackets already fabbed up for ALL Mazda 6 Models so you can even use your sliders.

-All Sparco & Recaro Seats
-Mazda 6 Seat Brackets w/sliders
-Removable Harness Bar (I will find out the price, but I have let them know that this is a selling point with the mazda crowd)
-NO CEL for those with airbags in seats

Hope that helps!
Matt

I know I would be interested in this, depending on price.

If they can tell me how to replace the front seats and keep the passenger airbag working without getting an airbag light for removing the two in seat airbags I'll buy the seat brackets from them next week!!

You obviously don't understand digital. Digital is all ones and zero's. If you have a kink in the cable, because it is made cheaply, then the 0's, being as they are round, can slip around the kink's, but the 1's, having sharp edges, pile up.
No need to look under the hood....
