Hmm.. I unscrewed all 3 screws and pulled out the inner handle part and still can't seem to nudge the door off. I tried using a butter knife to free the door panel and still couldn't get any part of it to budge. The reason for needing my door panel off is that my courtesy light socket fell in and i can't get it back in place good enough for me to put a new bulb in it. Any suggestions?

there a plugs/clips all around the door panel. if you start at the bottom edge(where the courtesy light is) and pry it up, you'll see one of the clips(its white). i used my fingers and worked ok. you have to pull hard to get it out, then the rest will pull out easier one by one. be careful to not pull too hard, cuz there are some wire harnesses for the door locks, window buttons, etc that need to be unplugged before you can't take the panel off. you then have to lift the panel upwards in order to get it out of the window glass channel

Thanks! I will try that. Do you think i'll have to actually pull the entire door panel off in order to put the light socket back through the hole so i can put a bulb in it?

just pull it all off you dont want to risk damaging the plastic by torquing it a funny way. But you might be able to just pop the bottom clips out to get the bulb holder in

ugh, I am going to have to do this as well to replace my mirror. I never have any luck with those damn clips, I always manage to break at least one.
