Okay, that little storage compartment on the dash that lifts up, is there anyway to fix the door so that it will flip back? I'd like to be able to put my portable dvd player in there so it can be watched but it won't fit because the lid doesn't open far enough. Anyone know of a simple mod to fix this (besides removing it )

Ehm, i think it's held back by the whole compartment... check the how-to install the lotek gauge pods, and you'll see that the person has to cut the plastic thing to remove it. so you cant open the lid any further....

Yeah, the plastic hinges don't go any farther, you'd have to make your own hinges for it.

in my state, you can have then installed but the professional installers will only install them if they program it to your parking brake. so it will only show when you have your vehicle in park..
