Well guys... Since we have had the Exteriod modifications FAQ up for a good while I decided it was only fair to add one here as well. Not to mention the fact that it has helped a lot of people out remendously to find aftermarket and Mazda OEM parts that are currently available.

How to remove the center console!

We'll start this one out by answering the most famous Interior Modification asked. That is, of course, how to remove the silver front dash piece. We are lucky enough to have a fellow board members (PM me if it's your page so we can thank you and put your name here) that took very detailed pictures and added a very detailed desciption on how to remove it. It details that you need to remove the cup holders and shifter plate before anything else comes off. removal of this piece will allow you to do several things such as installing amps by wiring ina LOC (Line out converter); or 6-disc changer, or an MP3 player.

Also included with these instructions is how to remove the door panels for aftermarket speakers.
