This 135i rapes pretty much everything and the only mod is a chip. I'd love to have one.

Not to mention BMW underrated the HP/TQ rating heavily, too. It packs more power than the reported 300/300 it reads on the sticker.

I saw my first one today on 95S. I cruised with him for about 15 miles admiring it. That is a sexy machine!

It'd be one thing if it was only too heavy for its size. But this thing is ass ugly, IMO. To each his own, but I personally think Chris Bangle should be shot.

ya but the hatch is just ugly

BMW's are just over-priced in general. Including their maintenance.

Maint = $0 for first 50k miles. Includes everything - even brakes/wipers/oil changes.

Rumors are circulating that the US market may get a 4 cylinder. Ooooh. Maybe a bit more in the affordable realm? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1.gif)
Equip it with that PETA friendly BMW leatherette (which is actually not too terrible) Maybe with ultrasuede inserts. Skip the i-Drive. Tune the Euro-market 120i gasoline motor to Honda K20Z1 power levels. Bring the whole thing in around $25,000 and give the IS250 a big middle finger.

...turns out they plan on using a Peugeot/Citroën motor. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/42.gif)

Do not drive French unless you live in France, and like most Frenchmen don't have a job to get to.

Corrected for truth!
