i think this hood think is gonna take more time than anything. i say just mimic the speed 6 hood and make the hump just big enough to fit the SC under the hood. and call it done.

Yeah I would agree with that , even people not getting the Supercharger would probably be interested in the hood. This is exciting been following your thread and this one for awhile now.

UPDATE:

he has all the parts there he had the manifold get warped from heat some so he has to machine that top back down but he learned so many mistakes when building the setup that will eliminate this again. he will be swapping out timing covers this weekend and bolting up the front cover. He will be trying to get this thing done very soon. he is also starting on the 3" catback this weekend for the car too.

so stay tuned

Well I am done with the front cover swap for the fusion. Don't freak out the mazda 6 have the correct cover since the motor mount is not molded in the cover like the fusion are. But this is exact part that will fit the two types of cars and we will be anodizing the backplate and powdercoating the brackets. The Manifold will be here Wed. so I will have the kit on the engine and I can order the belt but I need to find a scrap A/C compressor for the fusion it slipped my mind.......lol I will say the kit is really looking great so far we will be welding in the nuts on the arms to with the production model too. You can see that the outer pulley has small bolts it allows you to put larger pulely for increased boost and easy to get too no pressing off the SC pulley crap. I will post up new pics soon. We are getting closer.

LOL. Nope. Can't see them on 6crew either. I think my corner of the Internet is broken.

edit: I can see the link in my quote, but even when I try to navigate directly there, the page doesn't load. This is a first.

Well like usual I have to make small changes to the intercooler outlet and some triming for the outer manifold to fit better so I have it done now I am going to send the brackets out and get them powdered coated and have two idler pulley milled down. I will have the car running this week NA to make sure we have the setup running properly> I will tune in the injectors weld in A/F wideband to get the car tweaked before we install the SC. I think this kit is a complete moster it looks strong and fast there is alot of work in this kit trust me. I am stoked we got this far and just inches away from the car boosting. I am working on a 3" catback system and cold air for the car now. I will also be working on the brake kit too waiting for the parts to arrive back. Well in case some people didn't know I am full time working for my company things should speed up soon. Enjoy Joey
