I don't know so much about this Mazda. Is it true it was only for sale in Australia? I thought it came on the market in 1989. A very modern and luxery car for that time! Cruise control, leather seats, touch-screen (!) and more things. And under the hood a 3-rotor engine

Has anyone more information about this Mazda?

Actually, the Eunus was only sold in Japan. But I guess you can find them a little bit here and a little bit there anyway. I know there are a two of them imported to Norway.

I found some info for you:

The Eunus was Mazda's answer (the first answer, before Xedos) to Toyota's Lexus. It was a monster machine...

300 hp and 400 Nm at 2500 rpm (officially) and measured some 30 hp more and it was said you could cream out a few more also... The car weighed 1700 kg but made it to 62 mph in around 6.5 seconds. With an automatic!!

Hi Matt Mazda,

Yes Australia did have the Eunos models in Australia !!!! Just to confirm !!!!!!!!!

We had 3 models.....

THe Eunos 30X, which was actually a rebadged Mazda MX3 hatchback with Luxury appointments.

The Eunos 500 - a smallish sedan between size of 323 and 626, very stylish....

The Eunos 800 - A large sedan bigger than the 626, with 2.3 miller cycle engine & regular 2.5 V6

We didn't have the Eunos Cosmo Model, that one was only for Japan I believe.......

Rod

The Eunos range has been discontinued now........

You're probably completely right... Anyway, all Eunus/Xedos have been discontinued since Mazda6 is the new flagship...:)

Yes it is. This is not the end of Mazda, this is not even the beginning of the end, it could be the end of the beginning.. :)
