Having the Dashhaawk mounted in my line of sight was my goal, but to have it mounted to look OEM and not block any gauges. I have created one that many have seen but the new one will be even better. Parts have been ordered and I will have a new unit ready to show you shortly.
The first one took me a long time to get right, but with my new approach to create these im hoping to get the price to ~$150.

EDIT:
It will be a whole OEM top and bottom with the mount for the DH in the top like the one shown, thou it will be one solid piece of polypropylene. This means it will look more OEM and will never break due to environmental exposure due to varying rates of expansion and contraction or the PP steering column and another substance like bondo/fiberglass/epoxy/resin ect. Also using those substances only gives a mechanical bond. The mounts I am making will be plastic welded to the steering column to make them one solid piece of plastic that will not break apart over time. And no there will not be a big lumpy weld line. It will be seamless like mine and the bottom of the screen will line right up with the top of the steering column like mine. The only thing Im not 100% is matching the steering column grain/texture. Im not sure I will be able to do that, thou I hope to.

Well My account needs to be upgraded so...see attached for now...

There are 3 different kinds of steering column covers for the MS6. I have the keyless type and will be making another one like that. There are 2 for w/out keyless dependent on the build date for some reason. One for before from 9/1/06 and one for after from 9/1/06. I will be ordering more covers but without knowing who has what it will be hard to determine which ones to buy. I wish I knew what the differences were, but I assume it all has to do with the size of the hole for the ignition tumbler.

Also want to point out that this will not be a $5 part like the defrost mount that they made for the MS3 is. See a review HERE As stated by someone that bought it, it is really poor quality. And the one I am making will allow you to still have your boost gauge up there so you wont have to throw out that vent pod you already bought. Most important aspect to my design is that it is where you want it, right in front of the instrument panel, but not blocking it. I can also make other custom mounts in the steering column for those interested.

Aviator, after such long time FINALLY! A DH mount solution! Add me to the list!
my build date is prior to the 09/06 since I have a 2006 sport. I think it's sometime late 2005.

Thank you!
