As some of you know, my engine failed back on October 11th and I'm back on the road with a new(er) engine. On Wednesday, hopefully, my friend will drop by the shop to pick the old engine up and then take it to a coworker's place. At that point, we will start the tear down process.

This thread is to find out if there is enough interest for me to sell parts from the engine or if I should simply keep it.

Any damaged parts will not be included, obviously, unless someone wants them for some reason. The engine will be categorized and photos will be available for everything. If a part, such as the oil pan, is sold, then the required bolts will go with it.

So, think of this as a pick and pull. Call out what you're interested in!

Pics will be available over the coming days.

Since he's at work I'll just respond for him real fast. We do not have a spare cat, exhaust mani or radiator.

I believe some of the external parts included will be the alternator and starter, intake mani, and then the actual parts of the block like cylinder head and valve cover, etc. Everything else they just used what we already had since those parts were in good condition.

The shop that replaced the motor did so without tearing the engine down, so once we get the engine from the shop we will be doing a teardown and documenting what failed.

The intake manifold is spoken for, as is either the stock or optimized throttle body (still deciding).

Original post updated with a picture of the old engine.
