I think everyone but aviator should have this thing..

why?

because that dude is crazy and handy and does his own shit..

most of us are n00bs and need shit done for us. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1.gif)

If I had a dashhawk, I'd be all about it-boutit. Alas, I'm running a ScanGauge presently. If it's any consolation, I'm seriously on the list of the CPE GB for the 03-05 headers, which is precisely $1179 more than the price of this item.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1.gif)

Posted a link to this in the 6 Electrical section. Hopefully that garners more interest. Also, I requested a shop drawing of a design for this. It might be a long shot, but if people can see an idea, they might be more inclined to show interest.

I know, I've just been waiting to do so until the interest built a little bit.

I called CPE a long time ago and asked them if they would mount the dash hawk into the GPS panel insted cuz a lot of us like having our boost gauge in the defrost vent. They said I would have to have a big interest list too! I started a thread for it and Blockhead started making it but it was too much work so he dropped it.

That GPS door looks cool, but I can see that getting expensive fast. This seems like a reasonable alternative for a mounting solution in the meantime.

I have sent Josh @ CP-e an email with updated lists from all the forums. It's not 50 people, but we're close.

Here's the reply from Josh:

Nice need to see if we can get some more interest. I have 20k worth of
tooling I have to justify.

Very Respectfully,

Josh Adams

$20k of tooling for this part? Sounds way high to me. At any rate, I'm already on the list on another forum. If it means anything, I've bought many of CPE's Speed 6 parts. I've got the DP w/cat, the guagepod, the towplate and rear diff mount. So, I'm a reliable customer.
