ok so ive only had my HIDs for like 3 weeks and one of them has already practically "burnt out"
im not saying there a bad product. but something has happend to one of mine.
and i noticed that they come with a "life time warranty"
so i was wondering if theres anyone on here that represents apexcone or maby someone can point me in the right direction of who to contact about this problem and my warranty?

This should be in the electrical section.

They are not a quality product by any means. I've had 2 lemon sets already. I'm on my 3rd kit.
The "lifetime warranty" is a big hassle since you need to pay to ship it to apexcone. Not to mention, waiting for a couple weeks for them to give you a new set (if they think your problem is legit).

Legit? Nope. I have had two sets and 3 of the 4 ballasts went bad after only 6 months. You get what you pay for I guess. The lifetime warranty is just a perk. The issue with the warranty, is that they want you to go without a headlight for awhile until they can determine the problem and send a replacement. Heck with that. I will NEVER purchase another Apexcone again.

I've found the slim ballasts to be unreliable. But they will honor warranty for ballasts if you have an RMA. I have one that is supposed to come back but I'm debating. The ballast costs $30 to ship back... An entire kit with 2 ballast + 2bulbs can be had for about $75... so it kinda makes no sense to pay $30 for shipping for 1 ballast.... and it cost me $7 to ship it to them so I'm not sure where they got the extra $23 for shipping.

A couple years ago you would be able to contact donny from rpmstore and he would work out something for you. The last time my ballast failed he informed me that their policy has changed and all warranty claims are dealt through apexcone only. Rpmstore can help you troubleshoot the exact problem, but they can't really do anything for you beyond that.

I know many people have had 0 problems with their apexcone/ddm kits, but many have also had problems. Its very hit and miss. Just have to get lucky i guess.
