does anyone know how to replace that light with a diff. color? i'm not a big fan of the blue "mood" lighting in the 6.
I prefer a red or red/orange color for a warmer ambiance.
thanks!

Well, it's just an LED, should be pretty easy to change out. You'll need to remove the console from the roof to do it.

I don't have one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) and I want one. Anyone know what to wire it to?

The Electrical wiring diagram book doesn't show the "downlight" as optional. Weird.
It's wired in parallel with the selector switch lighting on ATX cars.

I should've asked this in my last post to but whats the bulb size for the glove box and trunk? I plan on doing alot of light work to my 6, but I don't know how its going to turn out because I'm not the smartest person when it comes to wiring things...

On my canadian 2010 GS i4 I dont have this LED. I saw this little hole last week and I was thinking that it was simply a mic for a bluetooth car option. I would like to get the electric diagram to see how to wire it, so I will maybe to this "mod" to my car. Thanks!

If the connector isn't already up there, the closest spot to tie in would probably be the ATX selector illumination.
