I have a 2004 sedan mazda 6 atenza sports...

I am 19 and this is my first car I have ever bought...

I have ordered H1 8000k 55W for my high beam
and also H3 8000k 55w for my fog lights...

Does it already have HID kit in there or will I need to order 1 hid kit for the low beam, and 1 hid kit for the high beam.

Thanks it will be greatly appreciated...

so do you have a mazda6 sedan, or a mazda6 sport (hatchback)? it can't be both.

It's not a good idea to put HIDs in your high beams. HIDs are not designed to be turned on and off rapidly like high beam lights usually are, so you'll blow the ballasts or the bulbs pretty quickly.

Just FYI, the base level is called the Sport trim, so yeah, he can have a Mazda6 Sedan Sport.

That's what I thought...thanks for clearing that up for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/5.gif)
Anyways, I will leave my high beam alone and not change to HID...
My low beam already has a massive bumb thing that emits really white light...
and as for my fog lights, I guess I will have to purchase a HID KIT

Sounds good. I wish I had foglights to buy HIDs for.

The good thing, HID kits are pretty cheap now.

Meh, I can get 55w for $110, but whats the point - the 35w are more than bright.

Depends on where you look, really. Some places *cough look below cough* have the 55w kits for less than $100.

Your halogens are 55w, yes, but HIDs are much brighter than halogen bulbs, regardless of the wattage. The 35w kits are about 3 times brighter than a halogen bulb.
