LONGER WARRANTY! Dodge now has the lifetime on at least the powertrain. With the problems I have had with the 6 I will be looking HARD at warranty vs. styling next time.

my 2cents, if any Mazda employees read this

If you upgrade to an extended warranty, it's less than $1000 for a 6 year/100k warranty vs. $2300 for the same coverage on my PT Cruiser.

Have you had any problems with the powertrain on your 6 so far? It's been electrical and interior trim so far if memory serves...

Meh, the Chrysler powertrain warranty is more symbolism than substance as they put a non-transferrable warranty on parts that almost never break. I would much rather see a longer comprehensive bumper-to-bumper warranty.

I owned a Chrysler and I used to work for them. Trust me, there HAS to be some kind of something that has to be followed to keep this warranty in effect. There's no way they're offering Lifetime warranty on those POS cars without making their owners jump through hoops.

My transmission went at 58k miles on my PT Cruiser, and the dealership tried to deny my claim saying the car wasn't maintained at the dealership. I provided all the paperwork they asked for, they still balked. My lawyer called them, and my car was back on the road with a new transmission within 36 hours.
