Why don't you mod your steering wheels so it is warm to touch?? I have a very simple and affordable mod. They come in many different sizes and styles. They are call gloves!
What do you expect from an average family class car? I would love to have it too but you think Mazda will put it into their vehicle when even the almighty Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lexus do not have it in all their line-up. It is only reserve from the top of the class where you have to pay through your nose to get it. BTW, do they even have aftermarket heated steering wheel??? Just my 2 cent worth. |

just because the great engineers at BMW and Mercedes forgot to think about this aspect does not mean
1. it cannot be done 2. It is expensive 3. cannot be a feature in a family class car, after all we have heated mirrors. so how much more for a heated steering wheel? $50 more? I'll pay for it. |

But I wouldn't. And neither would most people, i'd venture to guess.

I have always wanted one. It wouldn't be that hard either. It could work just like the seats, with wires running through it that heat up and warm the leather. It would not be expensive at all.
