My car is a little sick (smoking and I believe the cv joint is going) and want to bring it to a dealer that knows what their doing and wont jerk me around. Any feedback to any dealers in or right around the city? I bought my car by the Wisconsin border and dont have the time to drive all the way out there.
Also whats the deal with loaner cars? Do you get one no matter what for free or does it have to be there for a certain amount of time?

Liberty in Libertyville is pretty good. Muller in Highland Park is as well. From what I've heard, AVOID AUTOBARN. Loaner policies are dealer- dependent.

OMG. AVOID AUTOBARN AT ALL COSTS. I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO EVEN BEGIN TO EXPRESS HOW MUCH AUTOBARN SCREWS PEOPLE OVER.

Biggers Mazda in Elgin. Complain about smoking issue, they find and fixed the problem within 3 days. They give you a rental for a loaner,free of charge.
B.T.W. The problem was it's leaking oil in the turbo seal and oil is going to the catalytic converter and that causing the smoke,burning oil on the cat. conv. They replaced the whole turbo assy.
