2017 Mazda 6 Car and Driver First Look

I didn't see any of these first look articles posted but maybe I missed them? Kind of odd considering the speculation that's been going, either way but here is the Car and Driver article. Changes are basically all interior aside from the G-Vector steering. Nonetheless, looks nice and they are definitely going for a more premium feel.

Exterior looks unchanged.

Interior has some new goodies.

I believe the only exterior change is the new mirrors with the little streak LED turn signals. The article doesn't have any pictures of them illuminated, but you can see the difference if you really look for it.

Very subtle, but you can definitely tell the difference by the absence of the lens that was formerly the side marker on the mirror.

Ahh, nice...you can kind of see it here in this pic now that I'm looking for it.

I wish they had changed the position of the mirror again ( i believe they changed it for 2016 ). The car has more blindspots compared to other cars in this segment, and having a BSM is not the same as being able to spot a vehicle in the next lane easily.

Great find...but a COMPLETE BUMMER in that it is NOT a REDESIGN, but more of a REFRESH. So, I guess we have to wait another cycle before the Gen 4.X Mazda6. I dub this "Gen 3.9X", as the feature set will likely carry over to the future sheetmetal. Thanks!

For goodness sake, can we get a HUD on the actual windshield itself? I hate the little plastic piece. It's the 1 thing I dislike about my GT. It just looks so cheap and cheesy with it opening up and closing down.

My most favorite feature on the GT.
