Randy Pobst took 1st place at St. Petersburg in the Speed World Challenge on Sunday, April 10th 2005. Jeff Altenburg finished 6th after an impact set him back. This is a strong finish for the Tri-Point Engineering team, giving them two drivers in the top 5 for overall points, Altenburg at 37, -11 from the lead, and Pobst at 36, -20 from the lead. Dino Crescentini did not finish the race after a horrific crash took him out late in the race.
