Hood..Red or Black?????

Ok, I saw Silx's hood on his car and instantly fell in love and im doing it to my car...BUT, I just started playing with photoshop, and had a crazy idea, and i kida like it but im not sure...what do you guys think?

Because there are multiple cars that have the black hood, what do you think about a dark candyish red?

P.S. First color swap photoshop so its not the greatist

I like the candy apple effect, but IMO you'll need some additional accent candy apple colors either on the rims to blend it together. But thats my opinion.

But the black is nice too. Between the two, I would say black because of the better blending of colors.

silver and black is always a win.

i kinda think the red is a lil too flashy. what if you made the red darker? so it looks black from a distance, but when you really get up and look its a beautiful deep red. mmmmmm..

yeah man you can't go wrong with either color but with the red if you can blend it with some other stuff that would be sick....but black is easier to make work.

And as for the paint color I would do a candy moist likley cuz that's my favroite color, but I was thinking last night about that red that I saw on some mazdas on this page ant that color is just straight sexy.

Does any one have ideas for what I could do to put a lil more red into the car besides the rim?

And the red I'm talking about isn't the bright red its the metalic blood red (the name is escaping me)

Other than the rim, you can also, maybe tint the reflectors the same red? I know maybe the interior would need to be overhauled to make it complete. Blackmagik had some great suede work before he sold it, I would go that route if I had money to burn lol.

I was just thinking about the interior. I thought maybe red embroidered mazda logos in the headrests, maybe some red fibreglass where the silver parts were by the radio?

I am definatly doing a red fibreglass stero in my trunk and I did want something to match the red in that, but people can't see that unless the trunk is open lol. I'll play with some stuff on photoshop and post pics, and nope I can't really do a new interior because of money but maybe if I could just do some inserts on the seats? Or just buy racing seats with red in them?

and you should do one with the plastic piece with the buttons painted along with the middle section (like on the 2nd pic)

I tried that, im new to photoshop so it came out shitty, all the silver comes out really weird
