As you all know, on the 6 headlights we got the headlights, the turn signal, the high beam, and that one thats only there for decoration. I was just wondering if anyone has found anything to do with the spot on the headlights that doesn't do anything. What are your ideas, and what have you done? what can be done?

That spot was used by the fog lights before 2006, when the optional fogs were relocated to the lower bumper. Mine are chrome caps like yours, and I've thought about putting a small camera in one of them. I've also thought about buying 04 or 05 headlights with the integrated fog, and then retrofitting it into my headlights. I could then install a 35w HID kit in that comes on with the low beams.

Yeah, i was thinking of puttin in a camera there too. Some one told me i should put a movie projector into one of them so i can watch movies on the road ahead of me, but i dont see how that would work. He's kinda wierd.

that's actually really clever. Maybe camera in one side, projector in the other. That way you could record movies with one side and watch them with the other.

I did the retrofit and put in the fogs ( i got a set of smashed headlights from my buddys shop) then i put in 3000k hids looks mint All in all wasnt too hard the hardest part was separating the headlights .

If you were very patient, I'll bet you could have done it without separating the headlights at all. The fog cap is almost directly behind the square door on the back of the light, so if you used a tweezer to get the metal holding pins off, you could pull it right out through the opening and then install the fog lights. Or maybe the fogs don't fit through the opening?
