Okay its my turn to hear the critics on my 2009 Mazda 6 on 20" wheels. Wheels are 20x8.5 HP Lightning wheels with a 40 offset. Tires are 245/35/20 Nexen N7000.

Tell me what you think!!!

Well pictures usually help, buuttt...

20" on the first gen were just beyond fucking stupid. If you have 20's on you 1G, I have no respect for you. You could be a fucking brain surgeon, nothin.

Now on the new 6, they're not quite as bad, but pictures usually tell the final story. You have pretty wide tires with a very low sidewall, so I'm sure its unsafe, but 22'' seems to be the new 20'' with this 6

Noyt bad. If your going for style improvement, time to lower, or tire shine the inside of the wheel well's to make it darker! That is killing the look, with the bright shiny tires and lip exposing the gap. I'll probably never lower mine, the roads around here would tear it up(I know from experience)

Lowering looks good but is very impractical unless you live where there is no snow or frost heaves in the road. I think it looks ok.

Mine is Comet Grey Mica, and I was thinking about powder coating the factory 18s dark grey.

How did you fit 20x8.5???????

Every where I went said that they wouldn't fit. I got some 20x7.5 chrome wheels on mine.

I like your rims better than mine. You should lower it thou. Eibach made some lowering springs. I'm getting mine put on next month

22s wont fit. I already had mine test fitted. Unless you can find some way for them not to rub(Please LMK if you find out), then get 22s

I had them test fit the wheels on my car and i was surprised that they fit also , but i do get a tiny bit of rubbing on the front driver side tire with the plastic wheel well protetor...but i am going to sand it down alittle and it will be fine
