Hello, Does anyone know how to change puddle light bulbs? I have changed all my lights over to LED and would like to change the puddle lights too. Thanks for your help.

The manual for mine says that "Due to the complexity and difficulty of the procedure, the bulbs should be replaced by an Authorized Mazda Dealer."
It says the exact same thing for the taillights if they are the LED version, so maybe the ground illum. lights are already LED? *pause while I go check* ... Ok, It's pretty easy to remove the lens. Use a small flat screwdriver to lightly pry the edge of the lens opposite to the black rectangle on the inner edge. Once the edge is loose, there is a small clip that will prevent that side from coming out any further. Slide the lens away from the door so that the clip above the black rectangle comes loose and then the module should pull straight down. As you might be able to see in the pictures, the module is enclosed. The lens is either glued or melted to the black plastic housing. The module has two terminals with wires soldered to them, heatshrink around each one. My guess is thast there are LEDs in the lamp module. ![]() ![]() (Sorry about quality, they were taken with my LG Dare in a dim garage.)

Thank you for all your help! They just don't look like LED's to me. A little to much yellow. I was hoping that I could change them to white. Thanks again, and thanks for posting the pics.
