Hi all,
I've acquired a new front bumper to replace the one that got cracked when I hit a rabbit at 50mph, but it's off a Zugara and has holes for washer jets. My standard TS doesn't have headlight washers and filling and painting the holes seems like a lot of work, so I figured that just getting the nozzles would do. My dealer's parts department told me that the nozzles alone are £15 *each* so £60 in total. Apparently the parts required to retrofit the full headlight washer system (hoses, clips, nozzles, new washer bottle, second washer pump, etc) would cost about £500-600!!!£60 is a lot more than I want to spend. Are there cheaper alternatives, ie nozzles from a different car which would fit ours? Or even better, does anyone have a set of un-needed nozzles I could buy off them? If anyone has a Sport or similar model with the headlight washer system, some close-up photos of the nozzles would be appreciated. TIA. |

I've just noticed that dognduck has a Sport model and he lives just round the corner from me, so I'll PM him to see if I can pop round and have a look.
Any advice on possible alternatives or offers of spare nozzles still greatly appreciated! |
