Took MPS in for Service and ended up with 4 new Alloys.
Apparently its common for the laquer to start to peel from the edge where the centre boss fits. It wasn't anything major, but the Dealer replaced all four wheels with new without a quibble. Obviously a common problem. but make sure you keep an eye on it and get them replaced before the warranty ends Steve |

It's a problem with Mazda wheels in general. I was due for the 3rd set on my 3 year old RX8 before I sold it.
Still, as it means you can get new wheels every 18 months, why complain.

I too had same problem with my 6 TS2, alloys changed no problems. Have MPS now, will be keeping a close eye on this issue.

My MPS is 2 weeks old, I noticed when I cleaned it for the first time there was a tiny 'dot' on the alloy, that i think was a manufacturing defect.
Will mention it when it goes in for it's 3000 mile first service... P

I had an Audi A4 before the MPS, and every warranty claim was a hassle. Usually it took three visits and phone calls.
Really Impressed with Mazda Dealers, they don't qibble, and quess what? they get my business ongoing. |
