Oke this is whatsup..
I am moving to Holland but i read they are very strict and have many stupid rules..i already have to modify my car, but I also have hid lights 12k both headlights and fog lights that are both always on.. I do not have rear fog lights but apperently i need them and oh yeah my exhaust is way too loud.. I can continue forever and as far as i know cops are huge assholes and will prob pull me over every day.. So now my question is..Is it worth going to holland and will be forced to break down my entire car b/c of some bs rule..?

It's not worth taking your car, period.
Your warranty is void there. While many parts are the same, many others are not. The electrical system is a fair bit different and you'll find that any Mazda dealer can't fix your car if you have problems like they can here. You'll probably have to spend thousands on making it compliant to whatever regulations they feel that you don't meet (expenses that companies rarely cover, even if they're paying to ship your car), and the fact that you've got it modded is going to make it a thousand times worse for you. Your headlights, for example, aren't even legal in the US let alone Europe. Almost ever other mod you have is going to cause some sort of problem when important. They won't even let you get your car out of Customs before you fix it all back to a legal to drive state, let alone have to worry about getting pulled over by a cop. Just sell your car here and buy something new over there. It'll save you a ton of headaches in the long run. |

^^^^^ +1
I dont know the exact details for Holland but the rules to grey import a car into the UK are ridiculously strict. As we have a lot of cross Europe laws now I can't imagine it will be too much different elsewhere. |

I think i will be set with the lighting ..I'll disconnect the HID's and just put some regular bulbs in untill i passed. I also added side markers, but how are the rules with window tint?
I can't find any website that has the rules on it, and i really hate going there and having then be told something is wrong.. What are the max DB rules for exhaust? mine is 93.. Do they allow CF hoods?..

If there's a law that strictly against modifications, then even if you changed the stock holegen bulbs to HIDs, it's already illegal. Needless to say a CF hood. I don't know about Holland but in Hong Kong, it's not allowed. The police in HK will pull over modified vehicles, might modifications will get a ticket to return to stock; heavily modded vehicles will be towed to an inspection centre. Note that you might not have the car back.
Part out ur car then sell it man. No need to bother.

Wow! How cool that your moving to Europe too! I don’t know if you saw my thread about moving. That are the chances? We’re going to love Europe...I hope. What’s your reason for going?
Anyways, to try and not change the thread too much I’ll say this. I got a quote from a good quality car shipping business and they quoted me at around 2,400 to ship my 6. In my opinion it’s just not worth it because you can get an ok car for that price and I’ve always wanted to buy a really old beaten Mini Cooper(even more after I watched the Bourne Identity). Plus the hassle... But it would be kinda cool if we could add two Mazda6 to the Euro club!

I've been told the tinting laws are the same as the UK which is basically no tint in front of the b pillar (middle of car)
Also I'm not sure what engine you've got, but there's a reason we dont have the US spec engines here in europe, fuel cost! Holland has pretty obsene fuel prices. It's nearly 1.5 euros a litre, roughly $7.5 per US Gal. |

Military pays for shipping the car and i have put around 7 k into it after i bought it so i don't wanna sell it..
The reason I am moving back is b/c my dad is moving back and i really don't wanna stay here myself..I moved to the US 5 years ago I really like it but tis time to move back. I am not that worried about parts since I have work in a shop right now that ships world wide so they will provide me with stuff and i do everything myself anyways.. The only thing i am worried about is the cops and that i have to strip my car.. Tell me what you guys in europe have on your car..And what you def know is illegal..
