I thought it had only been in the showrooms for about 3 weeks - so I'm surprised there are any second-hand/pre-owned ones on sale yet.

And Mazda reckon that as there are only going to be 800 coming to the UK this year, then there should be a 'healthy' waiting list - so I wouldn't have thought that there is going to be much discounting going on yet. Guess we'll have to wait for Clarkson to either savage it or love it and then see what that does to its popularity.

I've put in an order for a brand new one, and managed to negotiate an extra £650 on my trade-in, so in theory my new one is costing 'only' £23300 - or at least that's what the receipt says.

Went in to my dealer today , to get the 6 serviced.

The 800 into the country seems to be real.

Also, there is no deals, at the moment. The salesmen seems to think that demand is there for there not to be a discount. So looks like we will have to work hard with part-ex figure.

I wonder if there any accessories they can throw my way.

All in all if I replace the car in September, then this looks like the best option, at the moment.

About 21 demonstrators on Autotrader.Do not appear to be moving too fast.Where are the other 779(800-21)?Are they in the country yet or is this a sign of slow sales?

I reckon the right U.K. price for this 6 is £20k.Anybody disagree.?

Well, I know where one of them is - on my drive ; dunno about the other 778. Have to admit I have yet to see another one to wave to.

For a 'flagship' model, there doesn't seem to be much marketing going on. And I haven't yet seen it mentioned in the monthly car mags like Top Gear and Car.

But I have to disagree about the price - but that's 'cos I paid more than that. According to my invoice I got £750 off list.
