Hi
Im from the UK & looking to buy a Mazda 6 2.0 maybe 2.3 if funds & insurance allows & regards to modification are there many parts available in UK? & is there a UK based forum?

Generally i want to know more about this car & feedback from owners in UK or anywhere in the world really!!

Just saw some pics of Mazda 6 in the gallery that are very nicely modified most of them are American spec by looks of it & dont really see any of these stlyed up in UK so thats what i be doing if i buy one i guess!!

Thanks

I have been running a 136 Diesel estate for 3 years in the UK. Very good car. More than quick enough for me and 41mpg. Road tests state noisier than average on motorways, this is true. only other problem, hopless in snow, too much torque. Much nicer drivers car than mondeo or passat (not tried very latest).
Not into body mods.

Had my 136 diesel estate for 18 months, best car I've ever had. I tested Volvo V50, Jag X diesel estate, Mondeo before opting for the M6, no regrets at all......will be changing in 12 months and really hope that there is a diesel auto by then....

Another 136bhp diesel estate here, chipped to 160bhp and 260lbft, as well as 48mpg on a variety of roads. Worst economy so far is a stint cruising at 115 on the autobahn near Stuttgart, with occasional spurts to 125-130 (GPS verified!), giving 29mpg.........

The road noise is something you can get used to in time, although you do notice the different styles of road surfacing a lot more! Different tyres and tyre pressures help a lot.

In short, find a decent dealer, take one for a test drive - enjoy!! I certainly have...
