Sat Nav use while moving (UK model)

Someone on main forum suggested I try the question here

However gist is how do I disable the pesky Sat Nav warning that prevents me changing or accessing sat nav while driving. When I say me I of course mean my passenger given they gave us a remote control to do it !!

I had this problem until I updated the map from 2001 to 2003. when I updated navtech sent me the map update dvd and a software update cd.

a passenger can now quite happily set a route etc.

Oh ok thats cool. just means forking out 200 euros or so !
