Just curious if I should buy spare items so as not to make multiple trips, thats all
You can buy one off ebay

EDIT: Have Ti make you one instead, he enjoys hard labor

Eh I'd rather not wait two weeks for a bolt with specs that aren't quite right (ebay bolt) for our platform. Plus I'm looking forward to a little tooling around

Get at least 2 of the small bit & 3 bolts. Most important is to have a drill press with a vice to hold the bolt.

The small bit will flex if you use too much pressure, so use a punch so the bit will have a good start.

My first bolt was a fail on the side hole & bit. Second bolt is in my car.

I bought 25 bolts, 3 little & 2 large bits from McMaster-Carr for the same $40 that boon charges for one...

Ah, thanks for the advice Ti
My friend has the drill press, I just have to bring the supplies. I'll probably check the local hardware stores before I go name brand like Lowes, HD, etc.

I haven't touched a drill press since shop class in elementary school so we'll see how this goes haha

Every time this pops up I think, "YES!" and then I click in.

Upon recalling that this is probably another question/bump I then get very sad. This won't be a happy Christmas after all.
